Please allow 6-8 weeks for cables to be crafted and shipped for orders with 'normal processing time'

Shop Update - Feb 2026

Greetings everyone - here's an announcement/blog post to bring all of our Past, Present, & Potential Customers up to speed on things as of February of 2026.

First up: I need to address something regarding sleeved cables for the Corsair Type 5 PSU options. Sleeved cables for the Corsair Type 5 PSU, no matter the case, will always require an adapter. I am sorry for the inconvenience or any aversion to the aesthetic, but there is just physically no way around it; the tiny connectors on the 2024 and later Corsair PSU means that I cannot terminate sleeving or double-crimp wires and have them fit in the connector housing. Please bear this in mind when building orders and selecting sleeved vs unsleeved cables for your builds.

Next Up: It's been almost 2 years now since Clack-Attack broke off from pslate customs with Phil's departure. In light of the general economy over the past year, the shop has primarily become a single-person operation. I occasionally have a little help with sleeved cable builds - but more often than not, I am on my own in the shop cutting wires, building cables, and handling the storefront.
That, combined with being attacked by my neighbor's unrestrained bulldog in September of 2025 while walking my own dog in my yard, has provided me with a twofold gut punch over the last few months: while recovered, one of my hands is never going to be capable of 100% movement again due to stitches aftermath and scarring; and the delay this presents in general building has caused me to drop the ball on customer service communications over the past couple of months. While I sincerely apologize for this - I know that this has caused me to incur some reputational damage that I can only ask forgiveness for. I am doing the absolute best that I can - and the customers who I have maintained communications with, thank you for your patience.

Finally: The past few weeks following the new year have been particularly trying. Hardware prices have been skyrocketing and the general nature of the tech market has noticeably gutted PC building as a hobby. I have personally been in and out of court dealing with a lawsuit following my neighbor's negligence in the dog attack mentioned earlier, and am still dealing with that as the lawsuit escalates to State Court. Most recently, a death in my family occurring just over a week ago has pushed me to a tipping point to be transparent. While I am not currently taking any "time off" due to current order loads for the shop, I am doing the best I can for grievance and self-care.

With all that said; for folks waiting for responses, I am dedicating the next couple of business days to processing and handling customer service communications.  I plan to have most, if not all orders placed in December completed and shipped out by close of business Monday (Feb 23).
Turn-around time for orders will be reduced as the window allows; for now, expect about 7-8 weeks for standard processing orders to ship and 10 business days for rush orders to ship.

Thank you all for your patience and patronage.
